To run the QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool, first, launch the diagnostic tool. Select the tab installation Issues. Then, select QB install diagnostic tool. Now, wait for a while until it detects the issue in your QuickBooks desktop and fixes it. After the tool finishes running, restart your computer and launch the QuickBooks desktop application. Open the data file and if needed update your QB to the latest release.

    Open the QuickBooks Tool Hub.
    In the tool hub, select Installation Issues.
    Select QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool. Let the tool run. It can take up to 20 minutes.
    When the tool finishes, restart your computer.
